Characteristics of Masters
Duration: 1 or 2 years (depending of the credits of each masters)
Calendar and time schedule: September 28th 2009 to June 30th 2010 (Graduation ceremony: first week of July 2010)
Registration fees (for non UE citizens/residents): 6.000-7.000 € (Technology, Biomedicine, Economy, Politics, Law) 3.000-4.000 € (Humanities, Translation, Social Communication Masters) Cost of living in Barcelona: 800 € aproximately x 9 months
Admission and registration process November 1st 2007>January 15th 2008 (First intake: February 2008) January 16th 2008>May 15th 2008 (Segond intake: June 2008)
In order to make visas, grants and other administrative formalities easier, the university provides conditional acceptance letters prior to the final acceptance for all non-EU applicants who meet the requirements envisaged for each programme applied for. Students will pay €300 (an advancement of the tuition fee) once their applications are accepted.
Access requirementsProspective students must hold a university degree that can be approved in Spain or which can be certified as being equivalent to a degree or a diploma from the Spanish university system. Likewise, the country of origin must allow students to be eligible for postgraduate study. A prerequisite to studying certain masters is to possess a university degree in a specific discipline.
Depending on the master, there may be specific requirements - Knowledge of languages (English, Spanish…) - Letters of recommendation - CV and a justification document |
